Tingrui zhang

Tingrui is the Head Master of Charles College, bringing with him a wealth of decades of experience in both public service and education. His career began with roles as a civil servant across various levels of government—community, township, county, municipality, provincial, and national—where he developed an in-depth understanding of governmental systems, policy, and strategic operations. In the educational sphere, Tingrui has been dedicated to impactful teaching and practising, including serving as a volunteer teacher at a rural primary school, an experience that deepened his commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments. His tenure as the executive officer of a global company and head of NGOs showcased his ability to lead innovation and entrepreneurship, achievements that have enriched his educational leadership with practical, forward-thinking insights.

 

 Tingrui is an alumnus of the University of Cambridge with the doctoral research on industrialisation and a graduate of University College London, where he studied global prosperity. Tingrui combines his academic expertise with practical teaching and administrative skills to create a nurturing and inspiring educational environment. He believes in an education transcending traditional academic boundaries, focusing on developing confident and well-rounded, globally thinking individuals prepared to engage with global challenges.
